I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas filled with family and love. Eat too much, drink too much, stay safe and happy.
This is more like my Christmas. 40 degree summer day. And although I won't be on the coast, surfing in the water, I will be spending it with family under the coolness of our air conditioner.
Everything is organised this year. Presents are bought and wrapped, decorations are set up, our ham and turkey is all ready to be carved, the seafood is set and the prawns just need to be peeled. Tomorrow mum and I will make the seafood cocktail sauce, dip cherries and strawberries in chocolate, and make mini pavlova's, and dad will peel prawns. Then, after lunch, when my sister and her bf get here, we'll open presents, and eat and drink some more and then probably nap from the food coma we're all in.
Just the way Christmas should be. No stress, no travelling (for us anyway. My sister and her bf have to drive 4 hours), just food, drink and family.
